Park Day success & Adopting a Tree...
Park Day report
Many hands make light work! Park Day on Saturday May 31st was a great success. Eager and hard working volunteers came out to remove weeds, improve the soil and plant dogwood shrubs and grasses along St. Hilda's Walk. Thanks very much to Chris, Kevin, Mary, Michelle, Froggy and her mom for helping to beautify the park. Thanks especially to John, Patricia and Brian from the City who brought the plants, supervised us and pitched in. Nature cooperated by watering the beds with a heavy rainfall when we were done
Adopt a Tree
Eighty, yes we said 80, new trees have been planted in the park this past week! Thank you RBC Corporate Park Day. Now, these babies all need adopting in order to help them survive their crucial first 2-3 years in our park.(This includes no locking bikes to them.) If you want to be one of the super special, proud AAT parents, contact This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we'll fix you up.
