Join the Friends of Trinity Bellwoods as we join thousands of other Torontonians taking a “Jane’s Walk” on Saturday May 1st. These walks are named after the beloved urban philosopher, Jane Jacobs, who encouraged citizens to engage with their community.

Our little walk is called “Trinity Bellwoods: Our Park’s Leafy Canopy” and will start at the main gates to the Park (Queen West at Strachan) on Saturday May 1st at 1:00pm. Our arborist, Brian Volz, will talk about the tree audit that he completed for the Friends last year, and will take us on a tour of some of the park’s most interesting, oldest, and newest trees and talk about the significance of trees in our greenspaces, the factors affecting their health, and our hopes for nurturing trees in our park. We expect the walk to last about one hour.
